Where to Eat...

Breakfast

Johnny Rockets is just one of the many restaurants that line the Truckee River. They serve American fare. The All-day breakfast there is superb, plus, it's very affordable.

Lunch

Lunch at Bertha Miranda's Kitchen is great. They serve really flavorful Mexican food. Plus the home-y, laid-back atmosphere is delightful.

Dinner

Try the Wild River Grille lunch menu. They offer a wide range of cuisine including American and Italian, though perhaps a little overpriced. Try their filet mignon and roasted pear bruschetta – excellent!

What to Do...

Morning

Take stroll along the Truckeee River which goes right through Reno. Catch a concert at an event at the little gathering area near the river.

Afternoon

The Truckee River is also a great place for whitewater rafting and kayaking. Rent your gear from one of the many outfitters in the area.

Evening

Be awed by the top-notch magic show in an intimate setting at the Magic Underground show which holds is shows underneath the Pioneer Center.

Late Night

Reno has an active night life. Night owls can take to North Virginia and First Street where a number of bars are located and go bar hopping.
