My Perfect Road Trip... |
|
| A perfect road trip is the way to go when traveling from LA to Reno. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and gambling and enjoy the natural gifts of area. On your way to Reno, Nevada be sure you go to Red Rocks and the Calico Hills. Take a breath of the beautiful fresh air and take lots of photos. These are just a few great places to see along the way to Reno. They both offer many trails for hikers and many scenic lookouts. Remember, DON'T FORGET YOUR CAMERA or IPHONE! Just South is the Valley of Fire State Park, which is the oldest state park in Nevada. The park has beautiful rock formations that are more than 150 years old. Something my mom would have told me about on a drive similar to this one. She was right to have let me know - I appreciate what time has done to form these beautiful pieces of natural architecture. The name The Valley of Fire came about because of the look of the rocks in the sun's rays, the rocks appear to be on fire. Enjoy your drive. Take time to enjoy the view and your fellow passengers! Buckle Up! |
