My Perfect Weekend... |
|
| My husband, Murray and I went on a stroll along the Riverwalk, Reno. Romantic, it is, especially when being side-hugged by my man. No one is too old to be sweet and romantic outdoors and we proved it. There are many restaurants, bars and taverns at Riverwalk, it's actually a center for everything, as they call it. We had lunch at Wild River Grille at Riverwalk. I loved the cheese plate which included house smoked brie, tomme de savoix, manchego, roasted grapes, fresh berries, apple and toasted baguette. We went to Bruka Theater to witness an arts performance. Located at 99 N. Virginia St., Bruka Theatre is the place to catch a play, musical or dance performance. Individual tickets are at $16 to $25. We had a wonderful time at Bruka Theatre. We stayed at Silver Legacy Resort Casino for the weekend. The hotel located at 407 N. Virginia Street, Reno also houses a flamboyant casino for those who have some bucks to spend. However, we weren't there to hit the casino. The hotel has a great architectural design and the rooms are very luxurious and elegant-looking. Murray and I stayed at a superior spa suite - warm quilts, king-size bed, a flat screen TV, comfy couch, bathtub and a view of Reno Metro. The following day, I went to Lulu Hair Salon with . This hair salon at Silver Legacy Resort Casino offers great services. Their staff are friendly and experienced, plus the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Murray got a sporting new hair cut while I had a French Mani/Pedi and Soothing Eye Treatment. Then we went to Tradewinds Casual wear where my husband bought a Polo Golf shirt. We also went inside Bijoux Terner where everything is $10. The shop is an awesome place for a fashionista on budget like me. Take the perfect weekend trip to Reno. |
