Animal Ark
This “sanctuary of life” in Reno, NV is located at 1265 Deerlodge Rd. It is a 38-acre wildlife sanctuary and nature center for animals. Visitors are given the chance to see non-releasable wildlife and their natural habitats, thanks to the glass viewing area.

Located at 6000 Bartley Ranch Road, Reno, this ranch park is perfect for outdoor entertainment, picnics and a dose of Western history. The regional park has enough room for biking, hiking and trailing activities.
Also located at Reno Bartley Ranch Regional Park are the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater, the Western Heritage Interpretive Center and Huffaker Schoolhouse. You will enjoy a peaceful walk at the ranch while learning some tidbits of Western history. Other facilities include picnic areas, restroom, horse arena, individual picnic sites and horseback riding area. What's great is there is no admission and parking fee.
